Austin is the CEO of Authentik Artists,〔http://www.authentikartists.com Authentik Artists Website〕 a defunct music company that is dedicated to emerging artist development. Authentik Artists is a content company that helps independent talent realize the full revenue potential from their recorded music and music publishing assets. Authentik builds brand awareness and profile for their clients through digital mediums and music licensing. Prior to Authentik, Austin was an A&R at Maverick/Warner Bros and Capitol Records〔http://www.taxi.com/transmitter/0307/headlineC0307.html〕 and is credited with the early discovery and/or signing of artists such as, Tyler Hilton, Eric Hutchinson, Family Force 5 and MoZella.
